To strengthen our team, we’re looking for a Team Lead Software Development (all genders). Gaming is our product context — but it’s not a requirement. What matters most is your ability to take ownership and build strong software teams.
Role setup:
- Team: 4 engineers + 1 working student
- Reporting line: reporting directly to the CTO
- Work model: Hybrid — 3 days office (Munich) / 2 days home office (for a 5-day week)
- Tech stack: C# / .NET, Azure DevOps, Git, Azure Functions
Aufgaben
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a software engineering team (people management + technical leadership) and support growth through coaching, mentoring, and feedback.
- Own quality, stability, and delivery for our desktop and web applications (including continuous improvement).
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders (e.g. Product & Operations, Reverse Game Engineering, Data, Marketing) and create clarity on priorities.
- Improve processes, standards, and collaboration — focusing on impact, not overhead.
- Make our Core Values tangible in day-to-day work: open, reliable, human, and solution-oriented.
Qualifikation
YOUR PROFILE
What we’re looking for (must-haves)
- Several years of experience in software development (backend/fullstack and/or desktop/web).
- First people-lead experience or strong evidence of tech-lead/staff ownership (e.g., mentoring, architecture responsibility, delivery ownership).
- Experience working in agile environments and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong communication skills, clarity, and empathy — you can provide direction, give feedback, and handle conflicts constructively.
- Business fluent in English and conversational in German.

- Experience with consumer products, desktop applications, or scaling web systems.
- Experience working with metrics/KPIs related to quality, stability, delivery, or product usage.
- Interest in gaming/entertainment
