Job Description
As a Team Lead at Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD), you will be responsible for guiding and motivating a team to achieve project objectives, ensuring the successful execution of tasks, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and coach a team of professionals, fostering their growth and development.
Allocate tasks and responsibilities among team members, ensuring optimal utilization of skills and resources.
Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards within the team.
Facilitate effective communication within the team and with other departments, stakeholders, and management.
Participate in project planning, goal setting, and progress reporting.
Resolve conflicts and address challenges within the team in a constructive and timely manner.
Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and workflows.
Maintain a high level of technical proficiency relevant to the team's area of expertise.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Life Sciences) or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a relevant professional role, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools pertinent to the team's function.
Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry is a plus.
