MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Site Reliability Engineer to join our team.

The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to support the Sponsor’s system accreditation efforts, to include creating Body of Evidence (BOE) documentation, responding to/implementing/documenting required controls, and completing required tasks/actions. You will be responsible for building and maintaining IT infrastructure resources that serve the Command Data Office’s (CDO) data analysis and data management requirements. This role brings critical expertise to the CDO team in creating scalable, highly reliable, and secure infrastructure and software resources.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • You will apply your expertise in OCP, TwistLock, Fortify, AWS Console, Quay, Satellite, and VSphere to build and maintain infrastructure.

  • This role involves leveraging lean startup principles and agile software development to create scalable and highly reliable resources.

  • You will create, update, maintain, and interpret required Body of Evidence (BOE) documentation for CDO infrastructure.

  • You will work with management and internal teams to successfully navigate the Sponsor’s accreditation process for all systems.

  • This position requires you to document responses to required controls and maintain a robust library of network diagrams for cyber defense.

  • You will work with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all data management requirements.

  • You will recommend and implement process and policy improvements to enhance the security and reliability of the platform.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in Information Systems Security or Infrastructure Engineering.

  • Expert knowledge of technical toolsets including OCP, TwistLock, Fortify, AWS Console, Quay, Satellite, and VSphere.

  • Significant experience with lean startup principles and agile software development methodologies.

  • Proven experience meeting security requirements in the Sponsor's environment or similar complex mission environments.

  • Experience working across a large team to drive a security agenda for complex, intertwined systems.

  • Experience inventorying complex networks and managing security compliance and configuration documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP certification).

  • Experience with the Sponsor’s primary cyber risk and compliance automation tools.

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is preferred.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Secret clearance is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • You must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

  • You will need to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.

  • This role requires you to frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers.

  • You must be able to exchange accurate information in all professional situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $137,100.00-$244,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
