Tasks
Your Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the end-to-end test strategy across Web and API layers.
- Design, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks in Python and TypeScript using tools like Appium, Playwright, and Maestro.
- Define and track quality metrics (coverage, flakiness, escape defects)
- Design scalable CI/CD quality gates and optimize feedback loops
- Establish strategies for performance, reliability, and resilience testing
- Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to shift testing left, embedding quality from design through delivery.
- Introduce advanced testing approaches (e.g., contract testing, mocking, service virtualization).
- Drive system testability and influence architecture decisions.
- Proactively identify coverage gaps, flaky tests, and systemic risk areas and fix them.
Requirements
Your Profile:
- 3+ years of hands-on QA/test automation experience, including Web and Mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, test case design, and defect management.
- Demonstrated ownership of QA strategy in complex, distributed systems
- Deep expertise in test automation architecture and scalable test design
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch) to support test coverage, incident analysis, and root cause investigations
- Experience integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines and working in agile environments.
- A fast learner who picks up new tools, frameworks, and domains quickly and independently.
- Strong communicator who can explain a flaky test failure to a developer and a quality risk to a product manager.
- Experience in influencing engineering and product decisions through quality insights
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
