Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced and passionate Product Designer (UX/UI) to join our Product team in Berlin.
In this role, you'll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from discovery and research to design and delivery.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing user needs with business goals, thrives in collaborative environments, and is excited by the challenge of building products that have a real impact on people's lives.
Tasks
- Partner closely with Product Managers to identify opportunities, define goals, and shape product direction
- Conduct user research activities, including customer interviews, expert interviews, and usability testing
- Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and product recommendations
- Create UX concepts including information architecture, user journeys, screen flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
- Design intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces for digital products
- Collaborate closely with Engineering teams to ensure smooth handoff and implementation of designs
- Continuously improve and evolve the visual language and overall user experience of our products
- Facilitate workshops, ideation sessions, retrospectives, and co-creation activities with stakeholders across the business
- Contribute to a user-centered product culture through research, experimentation, and iterative design practices
Requirements
What You Bring
- 4+ years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or a similar role within a startup, scale-up, or agency environment
- Experience across the full product development lifecycle, from discovery and research through to launch
- Strong UX expertise, including workshops, information architecture, user flows, wireframing, and prototyping
- Experience conducting and evaluating qualitative user research, including interviews and usability testing
- Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for usability, accessibility, and detail
- Advanced proficiency with Figma and collaboration tools such as Miro
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to change in fast-moving environments
Nice to Have
- Experience designing digital B2B and/or B2C products
- Familiarity with healthcare, wellbeing, or HR technology products
- German language skills
- Experience working in international and distributed teams
