Description
We are seeking a self-motivated engineer to support the development of advanced III-V devices.
Responsibilities:
Work with external vendors to coordinate the growth and fabrication of III-V devices.
Ensure that the epitaxial growth and fabrication processes are sufficiently advanced for mass production.
Drive growth and fabrication process changes to improve device yield.
Guide the transition from R&D to NPI.
Contribute to other areas of device development, including failure analysis, testing, and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of relevant experience.
Ph.D. degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
Experience with optoelectronic device testing.
Experience with failure analysis and reliability.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
Accountable with a self-initiative and proactive attitude.
Minimum Qualifications
B.S. Degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
Experience with epitaxial growth and fabrication of optoelectronic devices.
Experience scaling III-V development projects from R&D to NPI.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $212,000 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
